Military applications

With the increase in usage of drones for military intelligence and offensive usage, the PROWL system has obvious applications. To have a detailed map of physical objects in the world will allow autonomous drones to navigate to their intended destination without requiring FPV or other pilots, and then can linger in a location and allow data acquisition and the cameras to be focussed on the intended area, keeping the drone low and still avoiding hazards.
There are additional applications for cruise missiles, air drops and parachute planning, night and low level flight planning for helicopters.
Whilst this is not the primary intended purpose for PROWL, the data will be of use for a wide range of military applications.
Due to the architecture and design of the PROWL system, where objects are categorised, military usage can ignore privacy requests and other no-fly-zones to ensure that the mission is completed.
